Why people feel stuck
People feel stuck when people come across challenges while implementing their goals. This feeling just intensifies with time. Some people choose to settle and, without realizing, they push their dreams away or think that they will pursue it later in life.
They feel trapped in Parkison’s law.

No matter how much time you have to complete a task, you will fill up the time frame given. So challenge yourself and set ambitious deadlines on your goals so you can move forward FASTER!

Success is a commitment to change
and following it through
If your New Year’s resolution has December 31st, 2021 as deadline to achieving it, you’d better get moving!
You have only 56 days! Yes, you only have 56 active days in one year for you to achieve your goals. Watch this and you will understand:
As per above video, when you remove:

Steps to get un-stuck and thrive
1- Live intentionally
It’s crucial to live in the driver’s seat of your life and get out of autopilot mode. Ditch the false objectives (things you do because you believe it is expected of you by others) as well as routines and tasks that are not leading towards your goals.
Here are some questions you can ask yourself:
- Why am I going to do what I am going to do today?
- What would my future-self want me to do today?
2- Keep a positive mindset
Be mindful of your mindset and self-talk with positive tone. Instead of saying, “I don’t have the money for traveling”, say, “I don’t have the money right now, but I can start saving every month and will be able to have it in 4 months”. Another example would be not saying “I can’t make a career move”. And instead say “I don’t have YET the skills to make the career move I want. But if I take this course, I will get the needed skills and will be able to make the shift”.
3- Get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself
Success only comes from growth. Growth only comes from change. Change your actions, change your day, change your tasks. Change only comes when you push boundaries and get out of your comfort zone.
Breaking your daily routine can be uncomfortable, but it can be a great way to invigorate your life.
4- Surround yourself with people you admire and have achieve what you aspire
Don’t isolate yourself when feeling stuck. Seek support, mentorship and a network to share ideas and challenges. Surround yourself with people who will support you on moving forward, read books, listen to podcasts.
5- Focus on progress every day instead of the milestone of end result
Small progress everyday will give you energy to continue. Focus on creating habits and systems to move you towards your goals every day.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. You need to know what is the next best move and DO IT. Stop procrastinating!
Nothing Changes if nothing changes.
Quick tip to get stop you from feeling stuck and get you moving forward
Use the 5 second rule by Mel Robbin. (Special post on it and video can be found here)
The 5 Second Rule is simple. If you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill it. The moment you feel an instinct or a desire to act on a goal or a commitment, use the Rule. If you do not take action on your instinct to change, you will stay stagnant.
A simple example is getting up from bed without tapping into the snooze button. Once the alarm rings, get out of bed before 5 seconds, without even thinking. If you pass the 5 seconds, you will start negotiating with yourself that you could lay for another 5 minutes.
